Dr. Frances Nicholson is a native of Fulton Country and grew up in Sandy Springs, GA. She attended Riverwood High School and spent her youth showing Arabian horses and raising beef cattle with her family. She graduated from Berry College with a BS in Animal Science and minors in Chemistry and German. Dr. Fran graduated from University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine with her DVM in 1989, where she
developed a special interest in small animal general practice and surgery. After vet school, she completed a private practice internship in Emergency Medicine in Raleigh, NC. Over the course of 13 years, Dr. Fran worked as a staff veterinarian at the Cobb Emergency Clinic and Animal Emergency Clinic of Wake County. She was then named Chief of Staff at emergency clinics in Lawrenceville and Sandy Springs. After her time
in critical care, Dr. Fran moved to Hollyberry Drive in Roswell, GA and opened Hollyberry Animal Hospital in 2002. For the past 24 years, Dr. Fran has been serving
Roswell and the surrounding communities, providing compassionate care for small animals, exotics, farm animals, and wildlife.
